This is great book!! Through her stories and song lyrics, Christine tells the bigger story of God's grace in the process of stripping off the baggage of the past. This gifted songwriter is a beautiful prose writer!! Her conversational writing style is inviting. I enjoyed reading the stories behind the songs. Most of all, I appreciate Christine's willingness and ability to be authentic. I want to buy a copy for all of my friends.Product details

If you are a fan of Christine Dente and/or Out of the Grey, it's a no brainer that you will enjoy this book. Her trademark poetry is evidenced in her prose, and the insights that Christine provides into her life enhance the richness of the music and lyrics you've enjoyed for years. It's a must read.
However, if you have stumbled upon this book before experiencing Christine's music, it is equally impactful. Christine shares bravely candid vignettes of all facets of her life thus far. Without glossing over difficult moments, she acknowledges her struggles, while offering wisdom and hope. (And you will definitely want to explore her music catalog, too!)
All-in-all - I can't recommend this book enough!!
This book feels like a gift to me. Out of the Grey has been my favorite group since I first heard them in 1991....ask my family......I still listen to them almost every day (I'm listening to her RIGHT NOW as I type this....true story)! Christine's lyrics have always captivated me...she is clever, original, and poignant and to have a deeper glimpse into her heart and mind is wonderful.
I can't recommend this book enough.....and of course the timeless music of Scott & Christne Dente...a.k.a. Out of the Grey.
