I initially came upon Cathal’s “Putrid” comments on Zerohedge and knew that he presented information that rang true. Began my journey into the research on our monetary system some 30 years ago and I actually thought that The Reset would occur back in ’98….then again in ’08…..but watched closely as the Masters of the Universe snatched it back from the jaws of death.Many of us have known, for some time now, that something is gravely wrong with our nation and our monetary system, and furthermore, felt that this has occurred by design. But by whose design? And why?
Having now completed all 3 volumes, several things I must say. I am not only impressed with his utilization of “Learned Sources” in order to help put the pieces together for so many of us who knew of the deep collusions behind the System but weren’t able to finally complete the puzzle by “putting it all together”. I am quite grateful to him for having done so.
You will find these books frightening, enlightening, infuriating, and at last, well, at least somewhat comforting to be able to now know the who, what, how, and why.
Pay attention to the words in these books. Ignore them at your and your family’s peril.

Putrid sources information from genuinely original sources which are hard to access for most Americans. He has arranged their points of view with his into a form that leads the reader from where they are to the point of caution and clarity for where the economy is going. His point of view is rather harsh, which won't appeal to everyone. Personally straight talk like his is more needed now than ever. I appreciate his business approach to economy, politics and inter-personal relations.
One of his questions in the book has had me thinking a lot lately, "Who will go without?" That question pertains to the distribution of refined oil products as oil extraction begins to become too expensive. His question is insightful first the wealthy countries will still have their oil while poor ones slowly start to do without. Then others will do without, until at some point, there will be a lot of damage to those who have the gasoline. At the same time, we are going to find ways to do more without refined oil products.
While I am not eager for the Reset, as some are, I feel better prepared for having read Putrid's insightful treatise.
Reader beware. It is very misleading to call this a book. It is only 89 pages. To give any one of these three volumes a five-star rating is ridiculous. All three of them together would comprise one rather short book, so unless you are used to paying $50 to $60 for a paperback, you will likely feel ripped off. The author has some interesting insights, but The Reset does not really offer helpful tips about future trends, as advertised. And as another reviewer wrote, most of this material can be learned online for free if you research peak oil and the real economy.
Putrid complains that no-one is reviewing his books, so here goes.
The author is clear thinking and well informed on the current status of the global financial system. Working from the Hills Group recent report of dwindling oil and gas resources and the even quicker dwindling of real return from extraction and refining processes, he moves on to the consequences for western financial structures and the economy as a whole. This book is not for the faint of heart nor those who "cannot handle the truth". It is a quick read and so gripping, that I was forced to forgo my normal reading habit and just have at it.
For those of us who regard the current world situation as dire, the conclusions are not surprising. He points out that the Russians are prepared for all out war where the West is not. The one optimistic note is his assertion that the Russian missiles are targeted at the homes of the great banking and criminal Families, as he calls them.
Good one Putrid.
Unlike many other readers, this entry is the first I've read in Cathal's three-volume series. For the studied geopolitical and macrofinancial student, some aspects of this book are a refresher course - for example, the technical breakdown explaining Peak Oil, the necessity of usury to expand the balance sheet of Capitalists in perpetuity, or the importance of Gold among The Families (and thus, all of us). But even these more rudimentary analyses are presented with charts and statistics codifying long-held beliefs.
Where The Reset truly shines is in its commentary from pseudonymous power brokers; war gaming various scenarios for The Reset, giving insight on cryptocurrencies and their role at The System level, and providing voluminous historical and geopolitical examples to solidify its commentary. Unaware of Transvaal concentration camps in South Africa over Gold? Unfamiliar or understudied on the "Pipeline Wars" in the Middle East and Eastern Europe? Have you followed the Bo Xilai saga and understand its significance?
Do you know what a Helot is and how you may soon become one?
If you answered "No" to any of these questions, give this book a read. Yes, it's more of a pamphlet than a book, but its punctuated ending is well worth an evening of your time and the small FIAT price of entry.
